For starters, we have been in your shoes. The owners and administrators have been hands-on caregivers for over 20 years. Both with our own parents and grandparents, as well as providing care outside the home for people that became family. We know what it’s like to provide care and we know what it is like to need help with care. We can bring you perspective from both sides of the fence.
We are not a franchise. We are local, here in Denton, and family-owned and operated. We report to you! There is no red tape. We make the rules, within the constraints of state licensing regulations of course, since we are licensed with the State of Texas and The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.

We have a unique understanding that our caregivers are our front line. How do we know that? Remember, we have been caregivers and we have needed caregivers. We understand they must be amazing to keep you – the client happy. We do this with recognition, training, supervision and providing open constant communication all the way around.

Our caregivers are rigorously screened with Face-to-Face interviews, background checks, drug testing and motor vehicle screening to provide peace of mind.

At LWSC, we don’t believe in dictating how much care you need. Whether you need one hour per day, one day a week or 24-hour around-the-clock care, seven days a week, the level of service is completely your choice, not ours. There are no minimums.

Our online family portal provides real-time online client monitoring, paperless back end processes, and care plans, immediate two-way mobile communication with field staff, and paperless timekeeping just to name a few. Around the world family members have the ability to see what tasks have been completed in real time. Not only does it allow us to provide better care, but it allows us to run a greener business.

When a client has a pet, that pet is an essential part of their lives. Studies have shown that animals keep people more active, more social and generally in a happier state of mind. With this in mind we are happy to provide and assist with caring for your pets. We are animal lovers. No tarantulas please. Well… maybe.

Emergencies happen after 5pm, and we are in an industry where unfortunate situations can never be predicted or expected. During a crisis, it is imperative to have immediate attention and assistance which is why we are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Lastly, we believe in nurturing the mind, body and spirit by providing happy positive interaction. We enjoy engaging our clients whether it be going for a jog well maybe a walk, listening to their stories, creating a nutritious meal, or joining them at church.
